Modern High School for Girls hosted the third German inter-school fest ‘Treffpunkt’, opening it for the first time to international participants. The participating schools from Nepal and Bangladesh were Oxford International School, Dhaka and DAV School, Nepal. German consul general of Kolkata Olaf Iversen, Vice Consul Angela Grobmann and other dignitaries attended the opening ceremony. Modern High School for girls won the competition, while there was a tie for the second place between Birla High School for Boys and The Heritage School. The fest was a part of six-day programme which included visit to famous landmarks like Victoria Memorial and Shantiniketan.
