Mumbai teen, Pranav Dhanawade scored an unbeaten 652-a new high score record in the club level cricket in the HT Bhandari Trophy (U-16), organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). He faced 199 balls and hit 78 fours and 30sixes. This Class X student of KC Gandhi School took his team’s score to 956 while opening the innings against Arya Gurukool School in their two-day league clash at the Union Cricket Academy Grounds in Kalyan. Dhanawade’s record could probably be the best-ever individual score on a single day as he bettered Prithvi Shaw’s remarkable score of 546 in 2014.
