NCSM; National Council of Science Museums celebrates National Science Day on 28th February 2016.
It is the largest network of Science Centres/Museums in the world.
- Pioneered the concept of ‘Science Parks’ in India in 1979.
- Developed India’s first, largest and self-sustaining Science City, Kolkata in 1997.
- Operates 24 Mobile Science Exhibition buses for taking science to rural India.
- Developing 55 Innovation hubs to inculcate the culture of innovation among youths.
Annually more than 13.7 million people interact at the science centres of NCSM.
