The admission to nursery in private unaided recognised schools in Delhi for the economically weaker section (EWS) and disadvantage groups (DG) will commence, along with the unreserved categories, from 1stJanuary 2016. The directorate of education (DOE) has issued the guidelines recently.The application process will continue till January 22, and the first list, including the waiting list, will be issued on February 15.
According to the guidelines, at the private unaided schools (non-minority) recognised under Delhi School Education Act and Rules, 1973, the application process will be online and there will be a computerised lottery system. The private unaided schools recognised by the DOE under Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009, and private schools regulated by local authorities will continue with the manual system.
