More than 325 athletes from nine major port teams participated in the four-day athletic meet organised by V O Chidambaranar Port from 7th January to 10th January.The participating ports included Visakhapatnam, Kandla, Jawaharlal Nehru, Mumbai, New Mangalore, Cochin, V O Chidambaranar, Chennai, and Paradi. The valedictory function was held at the Port School Ground and the chief guest of the event was Ashwin Kotnis, IPS, superintendent of police, Tuticorin District. He presented the trophies to the winners of various categories. The overall championship trophy was presented to Mumbai Port Trust.
