Quizmaster Siddhartha Basu, of Quiz Time and Kaun Banega Crorepati kept all the contestants on the edge of their seats at The Heritage School Auditorium. To get the finalists familiar with the rules of the game, Siddhartha Basu invited to stage volunteers, handing them chocolates for every right or wrong answer. Basu delved in to a fantastic game of question and answer and took quizzing to a whole new level. The energy that he brought to the stage kept all contestants and the audience craving more. Challenging for the winner’s title were two-member teams from Modern High School for Girls, Delhi Public School-Ruby Park and Newtown and South Point High School besides two teams from the host school.
From direct questions and picture clues to audio and video rounds and a buzzer round, the quiz was an amalgamation of everything. Seven rounds later, Delhi Public School-Ruby Park, having consistently maintained the lead and slipped just once, emerged to be winners with 105 points, followed by Modern High School for Girls in the second position with 76 points and a team from The Heritage School, who called themselves the Stars came third with 75 points. Every individual left the auditorium with smiles on their faces because besides chocolates and trophies, they had the legend’s autograph in their bags. It was a fantastic quiz event and the kids went ahead to learn new things.
