Ahmedabad: Riding on a hat-trick from Shasam Jain, Riverside School kicked-off their U-16 boys’ campaign in the Sintex Cup with a comfortable 5-0 win over the boys from Navrang at the Kasa grounds here on Saturday.
In the one-sided encounter, Rohan Agarwal of Riverside School scored two early goals (8’ 23’) to put his team in command. He was supported by team-mate Shasam, who scored his side’s third goal a minute before the half-time whistle. Shasam carried on Riverside’s momentum by scoring in the 43rd minute and followed it with another goal in the 52nd minute.
