Scholarship exams which were generally held for classes IV and VII, will be held for students in Class V & VIII from the academic session 2016-17. The changes were made in accordance with requirements of the RTE Act. As per RTE, primary education is from Classes I to V and upper primary is from Classes VI to VIII. Thus it is important for scholarship examinations to be held in Classes V and VIII.
