Around 70 students along with their parents assembled at the Nehru Planetarium, Worli to participate in the first of a series of events organised under Times of India’s ‘Mumbai for Kids’ initiative. The stargazing workshop was organised for children, was meant to satisfy their curiosity about astronomy. The opening session was an interactive event with the planetarium director, Arvind Paranjpye, who was also the host of the evening. Parents and children had a bunch of questions set for the director. Since the sky was bright and clear on that day, the workshop began with watching the moon through telescope. The children had great fun and was able to quench the thirst of their curiosity.
