St. Joseph & Mary’s School is hosting a seminar on the Mars Orbiter Mission on 30th June 2016 at the School auditorium from 11.00 A.M. The seminar will be conducted by the renowned scientist Dr. Dibyendu Dutta, who is associated with G.M Registered Remote Sensing Centre, East, ISRO. The event is organized in association with The Telegraph Young Metro along with the school.
The mission, also called Mangalyaan (“Mars-craft”), is a space probe orbiting planet Mars since 24th September 2014. It was launched on 5th November 2013 by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) to aid the study of extra terrestrial landforms.
