Spurthi School for Special Children gave a new lease of life for mentally challenged children. The school provides free education to 64 mentally challenged children belonging to below poverty level. Initially, the school faced a lot of difficulties to convince parents to send them to school as they were not aware of such facilities and were demotivated over the condition of their children. But after hosting awareness sessions and looking after the improvement in the conditions of the children, parents themselves started approaching the school. More and more students started to take admissions. But recently they are unable to accommodate such a huge number for student due to lack of funds.
