SS English Medium School recently celebrated the festival of Diwali with a social cause. The students, teachers and management of the school came together and donated 51,000/- each to ChildLine Foundation and Naam Foundation. Naam Foundation is founded by renowned actors: Nana Patekar and Makrand Anaspure; works for the betterment of farmers in the drought-prone areas of Marathawada and Vidarbha regions of Maharashtra. The school also distributed sweets and snacks to CR Ranganathan School for the speech and hearing impaired, Muktangandrug rehabilitation centre and military paraplegic association, Kirkee.
