The state government is planning to conduct the second round of online admissions for the 25% seats reserved under Right to Education Act, 2009. The delayed round of admissions may be of little help to children as most of them have secured a seat outside the quota. This week, the BMC, which conducts the entry-level admission for seats reserved under the RTE quota, finally concluded the process of round one of the online admission process for which seats were allotted way back in April.
