On the occasion of Sadhu TL Vaswani’s 136th Birth Anniversary, Sadhu Vaswani International School organized a number of activities to spread the message of meatless day to be observed on 25th November. The school students held a peace march, undertook the ‘Goseva’ activity where students visited the Panjarpol trust Gosahala to feed fodder to the cows. To instil the qualities of sharing and empathy in students, the school organized visits to Bhagini Nivedita Pratishthan, Dighi and Tara SOFOSH Dhadphale centre for special children where students donated blackboards and toiletries.
An exclusive vegetarian recipe competition was also held for the parents. The response was encouraging with more than 45 participants. Exotic kinds of parathas and rice were displayed. The winners were given a sash of ‘SVIS Ms Chef’ and a ‘Veggie’ chef cap.
