About 30 students from NIE member schools participated in the Times NIE summer training workshop which aimed at giving students an insight into the newspaper industry and careers attached to it. The workshop commenced with a press visit where students got to learn about the printing process. The editorial session which followed groomed young journalists in report writing, editing, subbing, critique writing, interviewing and page designing. Students even got the chance to interview experts from various fields. Participants were awarded with a certificate at the end of the program.
