Around 400 students from 17 schools dressed as characters of the Bible, took part in a walk down Park Street on 20th December as a part of the Kolkata Christmas Festival. A student of Marian Co-Educational School was dressed as Mother Mary. A student dressed as Santa Claus stood on a platform fitted with wheels and was pulled by five other children dressed as reindeer. The schools which participated in the walk included La Martiniere for Girls, Calcutta Girls, Welland Gouldsmith School and Apeejay School.
