The BSS School and St. James’ School hosted Chinese Indian Teenagers Cultural Exchange Programme which was held in Kolkata where students from Qinglai International School, China took part in various activities and programmes like block-painting workshop, dance performance, etc.
The visitors took part in calligraphy, cookery and block painting workshops at The BSS School. They also enjoyed a cultural programme featuring a Kathak recital, Rabindrasangeet and a Chinese song performance at St. James’.
“Exchange programmes help students from different countries understand each other,” said Sunita Sen, The BSS School principal. Yasmin Daraius Panthaki, middle school coordinator, St. James’ School, said : “The students are getting an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. It is a very enriching experience.”
