M Andal, a student of Little Flower Convent Higher Secondary School for the visually impaired, Chennai topped the state among blind candidates by scoring 477 out of 500 in Class X state board exam. She aspires to become an IAS officer. She lost her parents at a very young age and from then she is being taken care by her brothers, one of whom is blind and her sister. Disability has never been an obstacle for her they strove hard with visions of a brighter future .
