Colour Splash: Some enthusiastic painters let their paint brushes do the talking at Colour Splash, the annual painting competition organised by the TIMES NIE in association with Jain Bharati Mrigavati Vidyalaya, GT Karnal Road. Around 1000 students from various schools across Delhi/NCR showcased their creativity assets at the Vidyalaya on 20th November. The event was conducted in three categories: Junior (IV-V), Middle (VI-VIII) and Senior (IX-XII). The theme was ‘Clean India’ for all three categories. Students created masterpieces using colour pencils, water colours, poster colours, crayons and colour pens. Painting acts as an aid to think out-of-the-box and experiment with variety of shades and strokes to create a new element. While judges were busy sifting through the paintings, students enjoyed Lavani, a traditional Marathi Dance. A nukkad natak was also staged titled Jaago Grahak Jaago.
