Times NIE School Buzz records events at different city schools:
- KIIT World School: KIIT World School Pitampura organised the winter fiesta. The programme commenced by invoking Lord Ganesha in the form of a dance presentation. This was followed by a welcome dance by primary students of Ashok Park branch. Mandarin students of KIIT presented a Chinese Dance.
- Indirapuram Public School: Indirapuram Public School, Ghaziabad organised its annual day Utsav 2015 on the theme ‘Twilight Years’. The main focus of the programme was on the plight of abandoned elderly citizens of the society. The event ended with releasing of the sky lantern symbolising the respect for elders in the society.
- CRPF School: CRPF School, Dwarka celebrated its 9thAnnual Day. The function began with the lighting of the lamp ceremony by the chief guest. The school choir presented a musical rendition ‘Swagatam’. The highlights of the event were junior ballet- Alice in Wonderland and senior ballet ‘Anubhutiaan’ ‘Ek Utsav’.
- Hillwoods Academy: Hillwoods Academy, Preet Vihar organised an Inter-school event ‘Confluence’. After the lamp lighting ceremony, the choir group presented Sanskrit shlokas.
- Convent of Jesus & Mary School: As a part of the German-Indian classroom programme, a 22 member delegation comprising 20 students and 2 teachers visitedConvent of Jesus & Mary School, Bangla Sahib Road. A number of excursions in Delhi and a trip to Agra and Jaipur were arranged for the group.
