Times NIE School Buzz reports events at various city schools:
- Army Public School: Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan celebrated its annual day ‘Soiree’ in Raina Auditorium. The parents of the participants and awardees made the evening special with their presence. A sapling was gifted to the Chief Guest, followed by a lamp lighting ceremony, accompanied by chanting of shlokas and a welcome song by the school choir.
- Amity International School: Amity International School, Pushp Vihar hosted the festival of ‘European Languages’ organised by Amity Educational Resource Centre. The festival witnessed over 2000 children from 50 schools across Delhi/NCR visit the stalls of 20 European countries.
- Lotus Valley International School: Lotus Valley International School, Noida held its annual cultural-cum-sports-meet. The programme commenced with the flag hoisting and lighting of the torch by chief guest, cricketer Gautam Gambhir followed by a welcome address by the School Principal. Students were acknowledged for their excellence in academics and co-curricular activities and meritorious students were given away merit scholarships.
- Ramjas Public School: Ramjas Public School (Day Boarding), Anand Parvat, celebrated its annual day cum prize distribution function (2015-16) ‘Abhivyakti’ at the Talkatora Indoor stadium. The School Principal read out the annual school report.
- Mehar Little Angels Sr. Sec. School: Col. Mehar Little Angels Sr. Sec. School, Paschim Vihar recently celebrated its annual day ceremony. Around 600 students embellished the evening with their talents and artistic skills. The programme commenced with a welcome song by primary and senior school choir.
