Times NIE School Buzz: Events at different City Schools:
- Mayur Public School: Mayur Public School celebrated its annual function ‘Indrapastha’. The lamp of knowledge was lit by the Hon’ble Chief Guest. A plethora of cultural programmes marked the celebrations, beginning with offering of prayers to Lord Ganesha, Shiva and Goddess Saraswati. The main attraction was a musical ballet Indrapastha which showcased the changing phases in the journey of Delhi from Dwaparyug to the present day.
- Scholar’s Global School Dwarka: Scholar’s Global School observed its maiden annual function recently, portraying the theme ‘Crescendo’. It was presided over by the Chief Guest, Union Minister of Rural Development.
- Lal bahadur Shastri Sr. Sec. School: Vandana Das, Headmistress of Lal Bahadur Shastri Sr. Sec. Schoolreceived the Paresh Prasad Singh Millennium Nation Teacher Award 2014-15. The school management appreciated her efforts in the field of education.
- NK Bagrodia Public School: NK Bagrodia Public School hosted the annual day themed ‘Women’ at the Talkatora Indoor stadium to mark the silver jubilee celebration of the school.
- DPS, East of Kailash: DPS, East of Kailash celebrated the annual day for Class V students. They presented ‘Rangotsav’ a dance drama, highlighting the significance of colours in our lives.
