- Mount Abu Public School, Sector 5, Rohini: The cultural fiesta- Sports Melange 2015, marked the closing ceremony of sports week at Mount Abu Public School, Sector 5, Rohini. The chief guest declared the event open by lighting the lamp. The fiesta included rhythmic presentation of orchestra, tribal dance, rock n roll, primary drill and a street paly on the theme Swachh Bharat. Scholars were felicitated for their meritorious performances in various fields and the school principal recounted the achievements of the school in the year past by. The school souvenir Sankalan was released on this occasion.
- Mahavir Sr. Model School, Sangam Park Extension: Mahavir Sr. Model School, Sangam Park Extension, celebrated its 33rd annual cultural extravaganza. The programme embarked with the lighting of the lamp accompanied by a prayer song by the school choir. School director welcomed the dignitaries for the day. The School Principal presented the annual school report 2015-16 and endowed upon all the academic achievements and accolades earned by the students in different fields. The cultural programme included India Vision 2020, ballet ‘Let my country awake’ Samtamurti Bhagwan Bahubali. The President of Mahavira Foundation gave the vote of thanks.
- DPS Vasant Kunj: The EVS department of DPS Vasant Kunj (junior school) celebrated the environmental science festival ‘Jigyasa’. Around 750 students took part in the event. The programme proceeded with a welcome speech by the school principal. Parents were invited to witness the event. An array of competitions like states pavilion, science toy making, eco-friendly Rangoli making, inter house folk dance and safety quiz, etc. was held. The highlight for the day was an exhibition of working science models and science games made by the students. The winners were awarded with certificates.
- Shaheed Rajpal DAV Public School, Dayanand Vihar: Shaheed Rajpal DAV Public School, Dayanand Vihar organised a Science Colloquium to felicitate the winners of the national level inter-school science quiz ‘Vaigyanika 2015’. This year 8778 students from 56 different schools of India participated in the first phase, which was a written quiz. DAV Public School, Sector 14, Gurgaon received the award for maximum distinction. The newsletter ‘Spectrum’ highlighting the events and achievements of SEC was released on this day. All prize winners were honoured with a trophy, merit certificate and cash prizes.
- Ramjas School, RK Puram: Ramjas School, RK Puram held its annual cultural cum sports day celebrations at the Thyagraj stadium. School Principal presented the annual report highlighting the accolades won by the school. A spectacular march past by different houses were staged as a competition and was judged by NCC officer. The primary school students conveyed a message of women empowerment, need of physical fitness and discipline through martial arts drill. School achievers were honoured with exciting prizes. The event ended with a grand finale which included different forms of Indian dances with a western dance on some popular tunes. Chief Guest applauded the student’s efforts. Members of the Ramjas Foundation and parents of the school students graced the occasion.
