Times NIE School Buzz reports events at various city schools:
- AVB Public School, IP Ext.: AVB Public School, IP Ext. celebrated its annual sports cum cultural meet. The school band was introduces by AVBians where students from four houses marched in perfect synchronisation stealing the hearts of the audience. Various race events were organised for junior and senior wing students. Meritorious students in scholastic and non-scholastic fields were felicitated with trophies and cash prizes.
- Sri Venkateshwar School, Sector 18, Dwarka: Sri Venkateshwar School, Sector 18, Dwarka hosted the first national Education and Health International STEM Symposium. Over 2000 students and parents witnessed the event. Directors of EHI organised the event.
- Presidium School, Indirapuram: Presidium School, Indirapuram organised the citation ceremony. The event began with the welcoming of Chairperson, Presidium Group of Schools. It was followed by the lamp lighting to illuminate the lamp of knowledge and wisdom by Ms. Gupta, SP Agarwal (Director Advisory Board), Vice Principal (Academics) and VP (Operations). The ceremony was lauded by parents and gave them, and the students, memories to cherish for a lifetime.
- George’s School, Alaknanda: St. George’s School, Alaknanda celebrated its annual day in the month of December. An exhibition on the theme ‘A tribute to great leaders’ was put up in the school campus. The lamp lighting ceremony was performed by the school principal and vice chairman. The exhibition highlighted the leadership qualities of eminent leaders through Power Point presentations, posters, dances, skits, quotes, songs and slogans. The Principal appreciated the student’s performances.
- Nehru World School, Ghaziabad: Five students of Nehru World School, Ghaziabad have been selected to play for Uttar Pradesh team in Under 16 National Netball Tournament. School Director congratulated the achievers and parents.
