Times NIE School Buzz reports events at various schools:

  • SD Public School, East Punjabi Bagh: SD Public School, East Punjabi Bagh celebrated its annual day at the Talkatora stadium. The students of the school performed Saraswati Vandana to mark the beginning of the programme. Meritorious students who brought laurels to the school in various fields were felicitated by the Chief Guest. School magazine ‘Saarthi’ was released on this occasion.
  • CSKM Public School, Chhattarpur: CSKM Public School, Chhattarpur celebrated its 30th annual day dedicated to Late Kiran Satsangi, wife of founder chairman Lt. Col Satsangi. The theme of the programme was ‘Life of former President Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’. The programme commenced with a Parent-Teacher Meeting and seminar for parents on Good Parenting. School head boy and head girl presented the annual school report. Chief Guest awarded certificates and medals to the meritorious students for their achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. School Principal presented mementoes to the guests and proposed the vote of thanks.
  • Prabhu Dayal Public School, Shalimar Bagh: Prabhu Dayal Public School, Shalimar Bagh held its annual fete in the school premises. Amidst the fun and frolic, the students put up various stalls with scientific and innovative games. The students presented a cultural programme to entertain the gathering. The school fete was organised by Roopnagar Public School Society. The event was a successful one and was appreciated by all.
  • Modern School, Vasant Vihar: Modern School, Vasant Vihar held the 13th Mohini Virendra Singh inter-school chess tournament. The event witnessed participation from 13 leading schools across Delhi with 58 teams and over 200 students participating in it. The Indian School were the winners in various categories.
  • Hamdard Public School, Sangam Vihar: Hamdard Public School, Sangam Vihar celebrated its annual day ‘The Aspirations’ from primary wing. The celebration initiated with the qirat and recitation of Surah Al Alaq. The programme was an amalgamation of various hues where the students spread colours of their talents. An outstanding audio visual treat was presented by Asma-Ul-Husna and the musical play ‘Jagriti-The Awakening’.
  • Ryan International School, Greater Noida: Garv Agarwal, a student of Class VII of Ryan International School, Greater Noida brought laurels to the school by securing the national level third position in Digital India Online Quiz competition ‘Cyber Safety & Cyber Awareness’. Minister of communications and IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad presented the award. School Principal Sudha Singh congratulated Garv on his achievement.
