Times NIE School Buzz reports events of various city schools:

  • Amity Group of Schools: Amity Group of Schools conducted ‘Bazinga’, an inter-Amity science quiz consecutively for the third year. The competition conducted in three legs- for students of Class IX, X and XI at AIS Noida, AIS Saket and AIS Pushp Vihar respectively, saw an enthusiastic participation of students from all branches of Amity. The first position for Class IX, X and XI was bagged by AIS Noida, AIS Saket and AIS PV respectively.
  • Prabhu Dayal Public School, Shalimar Bagh: Prabhu Dayal Public School, Shalimar Bagh organised the annual sports meet. Students from all classes participated in multifarious events with zest and enthusiasm. School Principal hoisted the school flag and declared the meet open. Group captains took the oath declaring their commitment to fair play and sportsmanship. The winners were felicitated by the Principal and Teachers by awarding medals and certificates. The meet concluded with the National Anthem.
  • Army Public School, Delhi Cantt.: It was a proud moment for Army Public School, Delhi Cantt. to be a part of Republic Day celebrations at Rajpath. Around 150 students from the institution depicted through dance and music ‘The plight of the holy Ganges’ and aspiration of the youth to purify it through focused efforts. They mesmerised the audience with a unique formations representing the Ganges as the lifeline of the nation.
  • Himalaya Public Sr. Sec. School, Rohini: Himalaya Public Sr. Sec. School, Rohini held its annual prize distribution ceremony. The event flagged off with the rendition of Saraswati Vandana. The ceremony was graced by school chairman, vice chairperson and parents. The toppers of Class XII in all streams were felicitated with certificates and mementoes by the management.
  • NC Jindal Public School, Punjabi Bagh: NC Jindal Public School, Punjabi Bagh organised the scholar badge distribution function. The function commenced with the rendition of school anthem resounding the message of committed service to humanity. It was followed by lamp lighting ceremony accompanied by chanting of Sanskrit shlokas. A medley of classical dances of India Raag Rang Rituon Ke Sang presented evocatively by primary and senior students. School Principal congratulated the parents on the academic achievement of their children.
