Times NIE School Buzz reports events at various city schools:

  • NC Jindal Public School, Punjabi Bagh: An inter-school fest ‘Swarnotsav 2015’ was organised at NC Jindal Public School, Punjabi Bagh to mark its golden jubilee celebrations. Around 21 schools from Delhi, NCR and beyond participated in diverse events. The overall winner’s trophy was bagged by Indrapastha World School. The three day fest concluded with the vote of thanks.
  • Bhai Parmanand Vidya Mandir, Surya Niketan: Bhai Parmanand Vidya Mandir, Surya Niketan celebrated its annual day in the school premises. Chief guest, special commissioner of police graced the occasion along with some dignitaries. The school management welcomed the guests florally. After the lamp lighting ceremony, a Ganesha Vandana was presented by the school choir. The annual report was presented by Class XI student supported by Power Point presentation. The students enthralled the audience with their spectacular performances.
  • Cambridge Foundation School: Cambridge Foundation School, Rajouri Garden hosted its annual prize distribution ceremony. After the lamp lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest, an empowering dance recital as presented to pay obedience to the Almighty. School Principal in her speech briefed the audience with the philosophy and ethos inspiring vision formulated by the school mentor. The academically meritorious students of class VI to XII were felicitated by the chief guest with certificates and trophies.
  • Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan: Ishan Solanki, a class VII student of Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan made his school proud by making it to the prestigious Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun. The college provides education on the lines of residential public schools for young boys in the age group of 12-18 years. With adequate support from school and family, Ishan’s preparations for the written exam as well as the interview took place in his school and home.
  • SRS Mission School, Janakpuri: Dr. SRS Mission School organised a three day Scouts & Guides training camp which was inaugurated by school manager. A team of trainers gave training on patrol system, first aid, camp-craft and surf smart training programme. A camp fire was culminated with a scintillating performance of the students.
