Tips to Stay Safe on Web-
Students of Sri Sri Academy along with their parents were given a peek into the murky virtual world at a workshop on cyber safety. Rakshit Tandon, the adviser of the police cybercrime cell in Agra introduced students and their parents to unexplored facts about the cyber world. Internet addiction and its unmonitored use can lead to a severe change in a child’s behaviour, which often has an adverse impact. Parents were suggested a few content-control software to monitor and filter their children’s Internet usage. Tandon also addressed banking-related crimes such as ATM frauds and card cloning. Parents were introduced to the newest software that might rob them of their possessions in a minute. The aim was to create awareness about the cyber world and offer tips to stay safe on web.
