Varthur Lake has been one of the most poisonous lake after the water became polluted and stopped cultivation. The polluted water killed their crops and the farmers decided to quit farming.
Students from Inventure Academy and KK English School visited 450 acre water body along with youth ambassadors of the America India Foundation. 50students were divided into 10 groups each to study the economic changes caused due to influx of sewage into the waste. They met experts, doctors, engineers, farmers in the area so that they could guide them deeper with the problem.
