Bal Bharati Public School conducted its first Intra-School Youth Parliament for class IX students, to promote effective communication skills. Students who participated, discussed the agenda ‘Amendment to Article 16 to reserve promotions in Government Jobs’ and proposed amendments to provide ‘equity and access’ for development of all sections of the society. A newsletter Sansad was released on the occasion. On the occasion of the 87th Martyrdom Day of Lala Lajpat Rai, the primary students of Balvantray Mehta Vidya Bhawan, presented a skit capturing moments the moments in his life to kindle the spirit of patriotism in them. An interschool declamation contest on Lalaji’s views on nation building and education was conducted followed by rendition of patriotic songs. The chief guest released the primary newsletter Expressions. Winners of the declamation contest were honoured with prizes.
