Calcutta International School held a two-day interschool fest Confluence 2015, which witnessed students showcasing their talent in various fields. The opening ceremony initiated with a spectacular performance by two students of Class VI and XI. Among the events held on the first day were quiz, chess, debate, football, basketball, wall art and choir competition. The host school was the winner in the quiz competition. The debate on “Internet encourages democracy” saw a battle of ready wit. The western dance event on day two was a potpourri of contemporary forms such as freestyle and hip-hop. Jugal-Bandi, bhajan and soulful rendition filled the auditorium in the eastern music category. The fest concluded successfully.
