CBSE class X result 2016 will be announced today, thus putting an end to the rumors doing round over the past two days. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the results will be declared at 2pm on Saturday. Around 15 lakh students took the examination this year.
The result can be seen on various websites. CBSE will declare only the Cumulative Grade Point Average for Class X students.
Mental health experts suggest that students must look beyond results. Dr Harish Shetty , senior psychiatrist said,“ The results are not a milestone that will affect your life. Parents and students must accept the scores and celebrate by throwing a party. Marks must not be compared and schools must reach out to students who may show signs of distress.”
Post-result counselling shall be available from 8am to 10pm till June 4. Students can call up counsellors at 1800 118004 for further details.
