Juli Sarkar and Shingo Sarkar have done something which can only be defined as “ Coincidence at its best”. Besides being twins at birth, these pair has managed to achieve identical scores of 475 in the CBSE Class XII 2016. Born to a Japanese mother and Bengali Father,Juli and Shingo belong from R N Poddar School, Santa cruz in Powai.
While they tied in their chemistry and physics marks, Shingo beat Juli in Maths by scoring 95 compared to her 91, while Juli made it up in her English and Computer Science paper. Their Father Arup Sarkar is a business consultant and their mother , Kazumi Sarkar is a Japanese Proffesor at IIT Bombay.
When the twins were inquired the key behind their successful and identical results, both of them said that they dint want to attend any extra coaching and mostly focused on the school lectures and their book. They mentioned how time management is an important aspect to scoring well. Competitive as though it may seem, the sibling twin seemed to help each other in their preparation. In their words, they explained how they helped each when the strength of one in a particular subject was utilized by the other who was comparatively weaker in that section. The school papers and the symbiotic sibling education was topped by their mothers guidance, who took a year off from her own profession to spend more time with her kids in such a crucial juncture of their life.
Both the children are now all set for their higher education in Japan. Shingo is going to study chemical  engineering in Nagoya university and has also managed to bag a full tuition scholarship whereas Juli is going to pursue environmental science in the very esteemed University of Tokyo. Did someone notice their similar higher education location?
