City Sports Report:
Vivek and Aneeshaa won the titles in the men’s and women’s categories respectively in the 1st Telangana Open Tenpin Bowling Championship. Bharthi Vidyalaya School won the title in the ‘Twin Cities Artistic Gymnastic School Team Championship’. Green Gables International School and Kaushalya Global School secured second and third positions respectively.

Rajneesh scored in the 40th minute of the game to help Secunderabad Blues B to hold Secunderabad Blues A to a 1-1 draw in the TFA C Division Super Football League.

Hyderabad claimed the overall team championship in the 61st Inter-district state-level wrestling championship. Karimnagar came in second position.

Pranay’s ‘three for seven’ helped Global Indian International School score a narrow seven-run win over Balapur Cricket Club in the second edition of the Children’s Day Trophy.

Ruhi Sameeha of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering will represent Osmania University in the All India Inter-University Boxing Championship to be held at the Kurukshetra University in Haryana from November 19 to 24.

G Siddanth will lead the Telangana State cricket team in the 61st School Games Federation of India’s U-19 tournament in Indore from November 19 to 24.

Ramya Krishna of Villa Marie PG College will lead the Telangana State team in the 44th Senior Women’s Handball Championship in Pune from November 17 to 22.
