In a mission to clean the education system in Delhi, the AAP government has scraped management, siblings, alumni and girl child quotas except for the Economically Weaker Section of the Society in private schools for Nursery children admissions.
The Government has also scraped 62 arbitrary and discriminatory criteria listed by schools on their website for admissions. The 25 percent quota, however for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) will stay.
