Patidars of NRG-rich Dharmaj town have resolved to fund the education of students from the community who belong to poor families. At the 10th Dharmaj Day celebrations, NRGs from the US and Canada announced that they will financially support education of local students so that they do not find any difficulty in pursuing their career dreams; be it to become engineers or doctors.
Needy students will start getting benefit of the scheme from June 2016 for which each household of the town will be surveyed.
As the next step, NRGs will support students who land abroad for higher studies.Dharmaj-based Ashok Patel has collected data of one lakh Patidars linked with the Chh (Six) Gaam Patidar Samaj spread across the world by creating a community tree which has names of each and every member of the community.
