DPS Indirapuram celebrated Shakespeare Day. The inaugural lamp was lit by the school principal Meeta Rai. The program commenced with the students presenting a choral rendition of Shakespeare’s famous sonnet, “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day”. Class XII students enacted the poem, “The Seven Ages as a mime”. A movie showcasing glimpses of Shakespeare’s life and technicalities about his Globe Theatre was screened thereafter. A dramatic presentation on Shakespeare’s Majestic Maidens by the senior school students was the main highlight of the program.
