Inter School Competition, Kahani Machan 2016 was organised by DPS Greater Noida on April 29, which made popular characters by Munshi Premchand’s magical pen immortal on stage alive to mesmerise the modern day audience. Among the eleven schools that participated from Noida and Greater Noida, DPS Greater Noida, the host school, bagged the first position for presenting the adaption of the story ‘Shanti’ on stage outstandingly. The Principal of the school, Renu Chaturvedi speaking about the occasion said that in today’s internet era, with the help of such events, students’ interests will be revived towards classic literature and they will be rooted to their values. This competition was a perfect platform for the budding actors who showcased their exceptional histrionic skills and stole everyone’s hearts through performances par professional excellence. The best actor and actress award was won by Mekhla Mittal and Prajwal of DPS Greater Noida.
