Just as several colleges are planning to shut down their humanities programmes due to poor demand, many colleges are witnessing a high rise in the admission rate of their students in arts stream. Students interested in Law, Fashion Designing, Civil services, Psychology and international assignments are opting to study humanities.
Tejal Jain one of the High scorers, who secured 93% in Class X has joined humanities in her higher secondary since she wants to become a fashion designer.
