High scorers in examinations from the city

Tanya Gupta of PACE Junior Science College, Borivili, secured 96.9% in her HSC (Science) examinations bagging the first position. She didn’t score well in her Class X examination, but it was only for her parent’s constant encouragement and her strong determination that she was able to secure the first position in HSC examination. She planned to get into an IIT.
Aniket Shikre of PACE Junior Science College, Dadar shared the top rank with Tanya Gupta by scoring 96.9%in Science.He expected 93+ but he was overwhelmed when he got more than what he expected. His primary focus was IIT-JEE.
Prateek Mohapatra of Ruia College, Matunga scored 95.5% in Science stream. He said that his score had surpassed his expectations. He used to study 10 hours a day on an average. He aims to become a doctor.
Tanvi Doshi of RA Podar College Commerce scored 95.1% in Commerce stream. She said that she used to maintain a balance between studies and recreation. She prepared a time table and studied for eight hours a day. She plans to pursue Actuarial Science.
Shreyasi Chitnis of NM College bagged 94.5% in Commerce stream. She used to study for 3 hours a day and take ample breaks. She did not attend any tuition classes. She wants to pursue a career in French language.
Piyush Kundnani of HR College of Commerce and Economics scored 94.5% in Commerce stream. He found maths to be a tough subject and used to practice very hard. He said that he considered his books as Bible. Every student should be logical so that studies become easier. He aspires to pursue CA and MBA thereafter.
Nishtha Sangoi of Mithibai College scored 92.61% in Arts stream. She used to study according to the pattern of the paper and focussed on the way she used to present her paper. Nishtha wants to pursue a career in Human Resources.
Aashni Shah of Jai Hind College scored 91.23% in Arts stream. She said that she took this subject likely and started her studies a couple of months ago. She used to solve three papers a week and submit it to her college professors for correction. This is how she was able to bag the topper list.
Labdi Vora of Ramnarain Ruia College secured 90.90% in her Arts paper. Her parents and she used to chill out and stay calm during exam time and this helped to reduce anxiety. She read a single chapter several time and used to pin difficult points to the wall so that she could memorize it easily. She planned to pursue her career in Psychology in St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
