The Inter School Competition 2016-The Keventer Cup, organized by the Debanjan Sen Foundation, on Wednesday, witnessed a mixed bag performance from the St. Mary’s team as they featured twice on the field on Thursday, starting off with a loss against Birla High with a score line that read 2-0 in favor of the latter, but finishing the day off on a winning note against Don Bosco Liluah with the same scoreline as above, only this time in favor of the St Mary’s boys. Nonmaan Anwer and Nikunj Sethia scored a goal each for Birla High School in their victory against St. Mary’s while Akashdeep Rozario and Peter Gomes’ goals made the difference in the second match for the school.
In another match, St. James’ swatted and thrashed the St. Paul’s Mission School in an easy victory by 3-0. Derek Lee, Harris Elias and Arkayan Ganguly were the scorers for the match. A few of the other fixtures along with their respective outcomes are listed below:
