Kalyani Public School has set a record by bagging the trophy of the Champion of the Champions School thrice at the TTIS Challenge. A Class XI student of the school says that he has been busy balancing preparations for unit tests and rehearsals for the fest. He cannot compromise on TTIS Challenge as it comes once in a year. Seventy schools had registered for the 11th edition of theDabur Red Toothpaste TTIS Challenge 2016 in association with City Centre Salt Lake which was held from 20th January to 24th January 2016. The Kund area of the Salt Lake Mall hosted a wide range of events such as Eastern Solo, Instrumental Jugal-Bandi, X-Factor, Fusion Dance and Fashion Parade besides off-stage events like creative writing, cartoon drawing, portrait painting and mask-making. The prelims was held from 20th – 22nd January 2016 and the finals was held on 23rd and 24th January 2016. The Newtown School took part in six events this year giving Kalyani Public School and South Point School a challenge. Calcutta Boys’ School, Don Bosco Liluah and Shri Shikshayatan School also participated in the competition.
