The Madhyamik examinations is going to commence on 1st February 2016 in 2751 centres. As many as 1153432 students will be appearing for the examination this year. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education administrator said that all necessary arrangements are made for the smooth conduct of examination. This year 522310 male examinees and 631122 female examinees will be appearing for the examination. Mobile phones will not be allowed in the examination hall. Only four officials including the officer in charge and venue supervisors can carry mobile phones into the centres. There will be adequate security at the exam centres. Paramedical teams will also be present to handle medical emergencies.
