The number of IB Schools in Maharashtra has witnessed a rise from 11 in 2003 to 107 in 2013. There are 487 International Schools affiliated to three foreign boards. 318 schools are affiliated to Cambridge International Examination, 102 IB Boards and 58 Edexcel. 76 schools are affiliated to both CIE and IB Boards. Maharashtra leads all states in the number IB and CIE schools.
