Most of these toppers have cited that it is really smart work rather than hard work that has earned them their laurels. Although a few of them have stressed self study, but majority of them said that they got the cutting edge with the help of their coaching classes that they had joined for the two year programs. But what is shocking is the revelation made by almost all of them except a few that WBJEE is not their major focus and in fact they don’t even want to go for engineering or architecture in the end thereby terming WBJEE rank as nothing more than an accolade that they will cherish. IISC Bangalore, IIT and JEE(mains) seem to be their destination when asked about their future plans. Thus looks like the age-old trend is finally going to be broken by the new age brilliant students, who do not fear experimenting or following their own dream.
