The Ryan International (Chembur) U-10 handball team had a very busy day in inter-school sports. The Ryan boys played four Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school handball matches at Azad Maidan and some of the players travelled to the neighbouring Gaon Sports Association ground for an inter-school football encounter. The boys began with an 8am handball fixture against Gokuldham which they won for 5-1. Around 9.30am they played their second match against Lakshdham. The y won this for 6-0. They then faced Pawar Public School at 11.45am, losing at 0-1. Three of Ryan International handball team’s members headed to the GSA Ground at Cross Maidan at 1.30 pm for U-10 football encounter against Balmohan Vidya Mandir. Ryan International School won for 2-1. The trio returned to Azad Maidan for one final handball match. This was their first MSSA U-10 handball appearance and the commitment the kids had shown was tremendous.
