Self-financed courses seeks lots of interest

On the first day of degree admissions, just after the HSC results’ announcements, most colleges saw students inquire about self-financed courses. Some of the city colleges have already sold forms five to ten times of the number of seats available for such popular courses. Students are seen to take admissions for self-financed courses like BMS, BMM, BAF and BBI.

At HR College, 850forms were sold for B.Com while 658 forms were sold for BMS. Around 400 forms were also selected for BAF course. At KC College, around 600forms were sold against 60 seats in BMS. A total of 8,440 students had registered online whereas the total applications received from students was around 9,650.
