Shot-putter Gour Ghosh of DPS Megacity created a meet record in Division A as he hurled 11.83 metres on the 1st day of the 4thInter-School Athletics Championship at the La Martiniere for Boys’ ground. The event is organised by Debanjan Sen Foundation. In the long jump event of Division C, Nabankur Das of Techno India Group Public School created a meet record as he leapt 4.89 metres. In the girls’ Division A high jump, Samantha Marcar of La Martiniere for Girls’ leapt 1.22 metres to create a meet record.
