Apart from changing diapers and managing crying babies, the worry of getting a child admitted to a good school is another tension that gives parents sleepless nights. If a parent is searching for schools which provides an all-round development, he/she should start working on the process from even before the child is one year old. Several schools in South Mumbai have already begun admission registrations for 2020 batch. In January, the State Education Department had issued guidelines setting the minimum age of admissions to standard I at six years starting 2019-20. This suggests that a child have to be three years old for nursery admissions in the 2016-17 academic year.
