With two months left for the academic year to come to an end, the BMC is conducting the second round of lottery for entry level admissions under RTE Act 2009 quota. The first round of lottery was conducted on 2nd April last year, but out of 2596 students who were allotted a seat in a school, only 1585 of them took admissions. The new lottery will be conducted at noon in Pune and of those who will be allotted a school will receive message on their registered mobile number. Schools will be informed too. If a child has already taken admission outside the RTE quota but is allotted a seat in the second lottery, he or she is free to change school.
